Built by Dani.
Still family run.
The store grew. The aisles got fuller. The basic idea never changed: know the customer, know the animal, and help carry the bag.
Everybody knows Dani.
Dani opened McKenzie Feed on Main Street in 2004 and built the kind of place where customers come back because somebody remembers them—and remembers what they feed. Tim was there behind her as she built the business, supporting Dani, the family and the work it took to make McKenzie Feed grow.

Useful products. Real conversations. No fuss.
The pet-nutrition side became a destination in its own right, but Main Street never stopped being a feed store. The old signs, feed sacks and farm pieces aren't a decorating package—they accumulated with the business.
Local isn't our decorating style. It's how this place grew up.
Keep what works.
Keep getting better.
Chris now handles the day-to-day operation at Main Street and Walterville, with Michelle alongside him. The goal isn't to polish away what Dani built. It's to carry the service forward while staying curious about nutrition, raw feeding, new products and better ways to help customers.

We carry it out so you don't have to.
Dog food, chicken feed, hay—if it's heavy, ask us. That's not an add-on. That's what a local feed store is supposed to do.
